Environment Canada issues snow squall watch

Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for Huron County.

There is potential for snow squalls this afternoon and tonight.

Snow squalls are expected to develop this afternoon in the wake of a cold front as winds shift to the northwest. Snow squalls will persist tonight. Local snow amounts of 5 to 15 cm are expected by Friday morning.

Temperature steady near minus 6.

Friday…Mainly cloudy. 30 per cent chance of flurries early in the morning. Snow beginning early in the evening. Blowing snow late in the evening. Wind west 20 km/h becoming southwest 50 gusting to 70 late in the afternoon. High minus 2.
