Students pool ingenuity, enthusiasm in team challenges

SEAFORTH – Teams of three local elementary students pooled their ingenuity and enthusiasm in a challenge of science and technology skills recently.

Students in Grades 6 to 8 from across the Avon Maitland District School Board took part in the Junior and Senior Techno-Challenges held at the Seaforth Community Centre. The day-long event included challenges in building a cable car, constructing a marble run, creating a build-ahead windmill and a biathlon.

The events were part of the Sci-Tech Encounters Huron-Perth.
