Bullet News GODERICH – More than 11,700 businesses and residences will be without electricity early Sunday morning, while Hydro One works on an upgrade at the Goderich TS.
Goderich Hydro customers and Hydro One customers throughout the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh will be affected by a power outage Sunday, Jan. 27 from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m., while customers in the former townships of Goderich and Hullet will be affect from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., according to a Hydro One spokesperson. To check the power outage map, visit Hydro One’s website and click on the map on the left side of the homepage. When the map is displayed, be sure to click on planned outages in the legend and pick the west region from the dropdown list.
Goderich TS is being upgraded from 40 MW to 65 MW as part of a plan to accommodate more renewable energy and meet energy targets by 2025.
