Share toys with Huron County Museum for upcoming exhibit

HURON COUNTY – The Huron County Museum is asking local residents to search their storage areas and toy boxes for toys that will of interest to museum visitors.

Its temporary fall and winter exhibit Come Play a While, which is currently in the works, will display toys throughout the years, whether they were play with decades ago or just yesterday. The exhibit will include toys on loan from people of all ages.

Bring as many as three items to the museum before Nov. 4 to be included in the exhibit.

You may also drop off your toys at your local library branch with Museum Staff on the following dates:

Goderich Branch – Oct. 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.;

Wingham Branch – Oct. 23 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.;

Clinton Branch – Oct. 23 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.;

Seaforth Branch – Oct. 25 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.;

Exeter Branch – Oct. 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The temporary exhibition will be on display at the Huron County Museum from Nov. 17 to Mar. 17.  The museum is located at 110 North St., Goderich and is currently open to the public Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
