Weekend roundup

The Freeplay Duo at The Livery tonight.

HURON COUNTY – Tomorrow marks the first day of fall, a time for canning fruits and vegetables from this year’s harvest. In Huron County, a country drive will bring you past plenty of farm gates where fresh tomatoes, beets, peppers and onions are sold. Or let the farmers bring carrots, zucchinis, squash and other produce to you at the farmers’ market. There are still plenty of markets from which to choose.
