Laketown Band invites new members

GODERICH – The Goderich Laketown Band is looking for new members.

The band’s young and old members come from anywhere within driving distance of Goderich.

If you have ever thought it would be fun to be a part of a community band, this is your chance. The band offers adult classes for those who need a refresher course on that old saxophone or trumpet stored in the closet, and it will rent out instruments to anyone who wants to test one out.

The band is always welcoming and its Monday night practices from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at GDCI in Goderich are always fun.

This is your chance to help carry on a tradition that has been a part of the community since 1967.

For more information, contact Hugh McGregor by phone at 519-524 -8543 or by email [email protected].  Learn more about the band on its website.
