At 7:20 p.m., Environment Canada ended its severe thunderstorm warning for Huron County.
At 6:20 p.m., weather radar indicated a cluster of severe thunderstorms over Southern Lake Huron capable of producing large hail in excess of 2 cm and strong wind gusts to 90 km/h as well as torrential downpours. Motion is to the east at 50 km/h. It was expected to affect the communities from port Albert to near Goderich by 7 p.m.
