Bluewater Builders’ Association is up and running

After nearly a year of work by an interim board, the Bluewater Builders’ Association (BBA) is now up and running with an inaugural membership of 27 members.

The BBA is a professional organization of builders, renovators, developers, suppliers, subcontractors, supporting professionals and financial institutions in the Bluewater area.  It is a local chapter of both the Ontario and Canadian Home Builders’ Associations.

The BBA provides a forum for the members to share information and experiences, promote ethical building and business practices, and to be the voice of the residential construction industry in the communities where they live and do business.  Its goal is to elevate the success of the member companies in their ability to provide quality, choice and affordability to consumers.

Together with the Ontario and Canadian Home Builders Associations, it develops and delivers practical positions on regulatory, environmental, financial and legal issues that matter to the industry and customers.  Members of the BBA are part of a national business network that shares a commitment to succeed and prosper.  Members also have access to the latest market intelligence, business, technical skills and training, and personal and professional growth opportunities.  Membership provides credibility and visibility for their businesses in today’s competitive marketplace.   New membership applications must meet a certain criteria, and must be voted in.  The BBA membership now includes Arriscraft International, Art’s Landscaping, Beldman Construction, Blake Style Design and Drafting Inc., Bruinsma Excavating Ltd., Casey M Boven Construction, Complete Construction Ltd., Edward Fuels Ltd., Geo-Teck Heating and Cooling Ltd., Groves TV, Heykoop Construction, Huron Concrete, John Hickey Construction, Langendoen Custom Building Inc., Larry Otten Construction, Mr. Heat and Cool, Neutel Construction Ltd., Orr Insurance Brokers Inc., Purser’s Putty and Drywall, Rona Goderich, VandenHeuval Structures Ltd., Union Gas, Watson’s Home Hardware Building Center, West Shore Stone and Brick Inc., Your TiPi.
